We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager that has valve experience for a premier client located in Houston, TX 77093 .
Must Have Valve Experience
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm pay Rate: 65k depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of the valve warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and warehouse organization.
Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to maximize productivity and accuracy.
Ensure proper inventory control, including cycle counts, stock rotation, and regular audits.
Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Supervise and train warehouse staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment.
Optimize warehouse layout and organization to enhance efficiency and safety.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall supply chain performance and customer satisfaction.
Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Utilize warehouse management systems to track and monitor inventory levels, order processing, and warehouse performance.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in warehouse management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a valve or industrial products distribution environment.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics management.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Forklift certification (preferred).
