A high degree of independent work ability and individual initiative will be expected in fulfilling the requirements of this position.Key Responsibilities: Utilize strong problem-solving skills and communication to supervise the Regulatory department, deliver on company goals, and develop the teamMaintain regulatory updates for compliance with customer, ISO 9001, and government requirements and assure that the documents are controlled within ERP/QMS softwareManage regulatory finance schedule and report results to managementWork cross-functionally with operations (manufacturing, sourcing, purchasing) to oversee customer compliance, product labels, and assist with product launchesAssist with advanced troubleshooting on external and internal issues such as customer complaints, process deviations, incoming regulatory challenges, etc.Present quarterly regulatory metrics to the leadership team and find opportunities for improvement in the data QualificationsQualifications: Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree with 5-7 years of experience<1 year of supervisory experienceKnowledge of industry and government regulationsAbility to train and mentor subordinates to maintain a strong teamMust have good verbal and written communication skillsComputer literate and excellent organization skillsDemonstrated ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision Additional Preferred Qualifications:Proven portfolio management and project/process management experience.Business acumen and excellent presentation skills (to customers, vendors, senior internal staff).Experience in the Automotive industry.
