TKO provides systems engineering, software development, data science and cloud development and engineering services to the Cyber Infrastructure Solutions customer. The services enable the Data Transformation, Malware Analysis, and Cyber Threat Intelligence processing and sharing capabilities for the customer, fulfilling mission objectives and offering actionable information to detect and mitigate cyber threats. The contract has several locations in Maryland and a small contingent in Texas.
The TKO program is seeking a Systems Engineer with strong project management and Scrum master skills to provide the engineering and project management in support of the DCS TTO. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to elicit and refine requirements, schedule work breakdown to deliverables, document artifacts, and provide roadmaps and schedules. The individual will form good customer relationships and reach out to external customers for requirements and understanding of the data and the data needs of the users. They will work as a key contributor in an agile development environment.
Skills: • Familiarity with AWS configurations and services • Good working skills with Atlassian products such as Confluence and Jira • Good understanding of data flow processes • Understands system-to-system connections for data flow processes • Familiar with the sequence of development tasks with designing, developing, testing, scanning and deploying software • Knowledgeable of customer infrastructure, resources and deployment processes • Able to provide adequate status updates to senior leadership Able to appropriately task team members based on priorities provided by leadership • Capable of aligning sprint priorities with the roadmap projections and goals • Familiar with Agile/Scrum ceremonies, iterative improvement and stepwise refinement • Able to capture meeting minutes, extract requirements and disseminate information to the team • Able to monitor and track action items and dependencies • Good organizational and documentation skills • Able to work with the customer to recommend priorities based on team load, abilities, mission goals, requirements and deadlines • Good interpersonal and communication skills
**Funding anticipated by June. • A High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general systems engineering experience
OR
• A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience.
OR
• A Master’s or PhD degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.
