The Associate Account Manager is an exciting role within the CARFAX Business Development team that is focused on an important Automotive Manufacturer partnership vertical. The goal of this position is to lower the administrative work and increase the sales pipeline in integrations, renewals, level-ups and new business for the three Sr. OEM Account Managers. The ideal candidate wants to be in the B2B technology sales and account management space.
At CARFAX, we believe in the power of teamwork and value in-person interactions so that we can collaborate and thrive together. This position will require 3 days a week in our Centreville, VA office subject to change with future business needs
Create and track sales opportunities (leads, renewals, deal registrations and quotes)
Address any dealer / customer satisfaction issues and/or requests in a timely manner.
Support sales cycles to close while establishing relationships and credibility and provide necessary presales support for prospects & customers.
Work closely with OEM Account Managers and our auto manufacturer partner network to drive deals, increase revenue, and enable internal channel partners’ success in the OEM CPO segment.
Support customer presentations and demos via online tools (Zoom)
Act as an inside CARFAX liaison between partner, dealer, and appropriate internal team members
1-2 years of experience in an account management or sales role
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Self-driven and able to manage a diverse, high-volume workload
Ability to quickly build productive relationships in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Excellent communication skills
Well organized with effective time and activity management skills
