St. Paul High School is a co-educational Catholic college preparatory high school in Santa Fe Springs. We are accepting resumes for a visionary and experienced Director of Technology to lead our technological initiatives and support our mission of delivering high-quality education. The Director of Technology will strategically plan, implement, and manage all technology systems and initiatives at St. Paul High School. This leadership role oversees technology integration into the educational environment to enhance teaching, learning, and administrative operations. Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology management, preferably in an educational setting.
Proven experience in developing and implementing technology strategies and plans.
Strong knowledge of network management, cybersecurity, and educational technology tools.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with educators and administrators.
Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and innovative technological environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that supports the school’s mission and educational goals.
Oversee the management, maintenance, and security of the school’s technology infrastructure, including networks, hardware, software, and databases.
Collaborate with faculty and administration to integrate technology into the curriculum and enhance instructional practices.
Lead and manage technology projects, including selecting and deploying new technologies and systems.
Provide professional development and training for staff and faculty on the effective use of technology.
Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal technology and data security regulations.
Manage the technology budget and oversee the procurement of technology resources.
Support the school’s distance learning initiatives and ensure robust and reliable online learning environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruption to educational activities.
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in education technology and make recommendations for their implementation.

New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
