Job Description
Responsibilities:
As the Plant Controller - Manufacturing you will oversee financial operations and reporting for several manufacturing facilities. Offices are based in Riverside, CA.
Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the, VP Finance, and and leadership.
Oversee cost accounting and reporting for the facilities.
Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Collaborate with corporate finance and accounting teams to ensure alignment with company-wide objectives and standards.
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for the facilities, working closely with the plant managers, and department heads.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize financial processes and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed.

The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
As the Plant Controller - Manufacturing you will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting, within the manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of cost accounting and reporting for a manufacturing.
Proven track record of success in a leadership role across multiple manufacturing sites.
Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software (SAP preferred).
Previous Public Accounting and Audit experience is preferred.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decision-making.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Occasional travel is required in this role.
This role is on site four days/WFH for one day and is based in Riverside, CA
