Job Description:
The Data Management Executive is a critical leadership role that drives the line of business accountability for data. Defines and prioritizes the data management strategy for respective FLU/CF/Ops. Ensures that the data within respective FLU/CF/Ops meets the business needs of the organization. Has ultimate accountability for adherence to regulatory mandates and Basel requirements for data management for the respective domain of data. Partners with other senior management to prioritize data quality issue remediation work and leads cross-functional efforts to remediate data quality issues. Ensures adequate staffing for data management processes. Works with senior management of other groups as needed to drive data management improvement across the Enterprise.
The Data Policy Executive for Data Management Policy & Capture/Transport/Use Standards is responsible for driving enhancements to Enterprise policy requirements, updates to guidance materials and the management of the Enterprise policy, adherence and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Drawing on risk management expertise to create policy, standards and process requirements, controls, and accountability.
- Engaging with stakeholders across organizational lines to take action and adhere to program and policy requirements.
- Being an enterprise thought leader who can proactively drive change and innovation with strong executive presence and presentation skills.
- Providing leadership to centralized QA team on implementing requirements, metrics and targets which will measure adherence to the data policy across the data lifecycle.
- Ensuring capabilities are in place to drive oversight of FLU/CF execution of the Data Risk Management Framework, including the implementation of tools to drive adherence to requirements.
- Leading the establishment and driving out of effective controls within processes, performing reviews, and reviewing the effectiveness of controls
- Serving as a trusted advisor and partner to DSME, DSE and DQCE teams Enterprise-wide to identify and address emerging risks, areas of potential non-adherence, and any issues that may impact the FLU.

Required Qualifications:
- 8 to 10+ years’ experience in data management for financial services
- Experience in designing and executing data programs to address emerging data and regulatory risk
- Experience in creation/enhancing of and monitoring adherence for policies focused on data management and governance
- Experience partnering across different functions to drive strategic priorities
- Proven experience in preparing communications and presentation materials intended for, and leading discussions with senior audiences and regulators
