The Research Technician/Embryologist works in Fertility Clinic and associated research laboratories under the direction of the In Vitro Fertilization Lab Director. This Research supports the Fertility program and increasing pregnancy outcomes. The caregiver in this role will have the opportunity to grow their embryology skills and join the clinical team.
The ideal caregiver is someone who:
• Has their Masters with some lab experience (preferred).
• Has experience with tissue culture techniques and working with microscopes.
• Has extensive experience in cell culture, immunoflourescent or molecular biology techniques (preferred).

Work Experience:
- Two years research experience in cell biology or related field.
- Master’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology may substitute for some of the experience requirement.
Physical Requirements:
- Strong eye-hand coordination along with manual dexterity.
- High degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC.
- Normal or corrected vision.
- Extensive sitting and frequent walking.
- Occasional lifting or carrying up to 25.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
