Catholic Charities of Baltimore is currently seeking a Case Manager (Bilingual English/Spanish) who provides intensive case management including, but not limited to, as-needed home visitation services to participants / clients. The Case Manager assesses household needs, coordinates resources based on goals, and provides advocacy, information, and referral services.

Our dedicated staff and volunteers provide services related to education, healthcare, immigration legal matters, family reunification, anti-trafficking, and general community support to thousands of immigrants each year.
The Case Management Pilot Program aims to ensure that noncitizens who are enrolled in an ICE Alternative to Detention program have access to voluntary, supportive, and comprehensive case management services to improve client engagement in ability to secure legal representation, health, and wellbeing.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, weekends as needed
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Case Manager will conduct in-person appointment and phone calls to assess the client's needs.
- Provide ongoing case management focusing on screening and making appropriate referrals to address the client's needs related to mental health services, human trafficking screening, legal orientation programs, and cultural orientation programs.
- Complete all documents and required reports, case notes, and contacts in the appropriate database by the expected timeframes and requirements.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
- Participate in outreach and networking events in the community to try to leverage more resources for the families.
- Collaboration and responsiveness with funders Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS), Church World Service, and the DHS Office of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Case Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field
- Two years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Senior Case Manager
- Master's degree in related field
- 5 years related experience
Both levels:
- Bilingual in English and French
- Requires the ability to utilize computer systems and software necessary to perform position functions. Basic Windows PC, web browsing (i.e. Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.), and Microsoft Outlook skills required. Other Microsoft Office application knowledge, such as Word, Excel PowerPoint, Skype, and OneDrive desired.
- Driving (Agency and/or personal vehicle) is required for this position. Driver must be at least 21 years of age, with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience, and a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence. There can be no state issued restrictions on the licenses that would impede driver’s ability to operate the vehicle as required by the Agency, and there must not be more than three (3) points on their driving record.

- Must be fluent in both Spanish and English, and be culturally competent to deal with clients from diverse Latino/Hispanic backgrounds.
