CLIENT SOLUTIONS
Client Solutions is WMC’s integrated marketing center of excellence for centralized, end-to-end insights-led marketing strategy, strategic omnichannel planning and activation of custom category, cross-category, tentpole and custom advertiser solutions across Walmart’s touchpoints—at an unparalleled scale.
We partner with suppliers to co-create industry-first programs and breakthrough experiences that connect brands with Walmart customers, aligning goals with Walmart Merchandising and Marketing and Site priorities to jointly drive commercial success.
JOB OVERVIEW
In this role, you will develop cross-category programs for supplier participation in collaboration with external media and agency partners as well as internal stakeholders like brand marketing and associate resource groups. Key aspects of the role is to both provide strategy behind the activations but also to lead creative efforts, jointly pitch advertisers with sales teams, and execute for maximum impact. Currently, the programming focus of this role largely centers around leading Walmart Connect development and management of livestream initiatives, however, also includes responsibility for managing interactions with facets of Walmart enterprise marketing and external media partners.
This leadership position reports to the Director of Integrated Capabilities. It’s an incredible opportunity to create market-leading opportunities during an exciting time for WMC and retail media.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an exceptionally strong, strategic, and effective leader who is influential, highly energized, and capable of driving internal cross-functional partnerships and workstreams within WMC and Walmart—delivering business results. The ideal candidate is strategic and outcomes-oriented, highly competent operating in matrixed organizations, values storytelling and getting things done. This person should also have experience managing video production partners and marketing program development. Digital media experience is a must, bonus points for anyone with a client solutions background in a media publisher or agency and/or retail marketing experience.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Proactively builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders throughout the Walmart organization in service of generating supplier opportunities.
• Builds cross-category programs for supplier participation in collaboration with external media and agency partners as well as internal stakeholders like brand marketing and associate resource groups.
• Leads WMC’s workstream to connect suppliers to livestream activations to create win-wins for all parties.
• Collaborates with other Client Solutions leads to generate sales materials and craft pitches in support of programming centered around customer-first narratives.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key marketing/media vendors to support the growth of a toolbox for others in Client Solutions to use/test in programs.
• Collaborates with Walmart Connect Strategy team to integrate proof-of-concept testing in activations.
• Expands program offerings as needed to seek opportunistic revenue.
• Based on Client Solutions goals, set KPIs and roadmaps, ensuring smooth delivery and timely completion—for the team and internal stakeholders.
o Seek stakeholder feedback to measure performance and quantify impact/results, strengthen output, and optimize ways of working.
• Manages a direct report, supports talent management and development of the associate.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Relevant bachelor’s degree.
• A proven record leading strategy, integrated marketing, promotional programs on the media or marketing arm of an omnichannel or e-commerce retailer, the commerce side of a media company or agency.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
• Experience and influence driving cross-functional partnerships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
THE BONUS - STRONGLY PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA or advanced-level academic degree strongly preferred.
• Walmart enterprise experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
?
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
