We are hiring! We are adding a Program Manager to the team supporting our IRS Contract. This hired individual will be joining a team of high performers. This position is Hybrid with flexibility to telework. The position is in Maryland. Ideal candidate must be local tot he DC, MD and VA area.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of one or more multi-disciplined programs, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Manage one or more projects or programs and supervise professional and technical personnel performing their customary disciplines.
• Maintain aggressive efforts to achieve objectives. Acts as a technical liaison with the client and vendors. Trains and supervises personnel.
• Prepare Staffing Plans, including skill and labor mix, to support contract operations.
• Will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff. Assign staff and provide technical direction as necessary to complete tasks.
• Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare forecasts of program financial performance.
• Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.
• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

Required qualifications:

• 6 years of experience, with lead experience.
• Experience working with contracts of similar scope and size.
• Experience leading teams of technical employees/personnel.
• Experience with high performance teams to meet and exceed service levels
• Should have knowledge of industry best practices as articulated by, but not limited to, the Project Management Institute (PMI), Lean IT, Agile practices, as well as DevSecOps.
• Must be certified in one of the following:
• Program Management Professional (PgMP)
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
• PMI - Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• Experience in project management, budget, and forecasting toolsets.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITIL Certification
• Scrum Master Certification and/or experience
• Active Public Trust clearance
• Experience with VMWARE and HPE servers is a plus
