What You Will Need:
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Must be able to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
High school degree or GED Equivalent
Basic Computer skills
Must be able and willing to perform with or without reasonable accommodation: working underground (up to 1800 feet), which involves bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
Able to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends and different shifts with advance notice
Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include working underground (up to 1800 feet), heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) which may include a harness in some circumstances
Routine background check and Alcohol Tobacco and Firearm (ATF) "Explosives Possessor" background check: To ensure a safe working environment for all employees, we will conduct a criminal background check.
What Will Put You Ahead:
Prior experience in production related work
Previous mining experience
Ability to perform lubrication, servicing and minor maintenance for equipment related to the classification
