Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist to join the team located in Long Beach, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead (Program Management level) the SoCal BCA Boeing Corrective Action Board (BCAB)
- Manage portfolio of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) (Project Management level)
- Assignment of Project Managers to manage Corrective Actions (CAs)
- Mentor and guide others on applicable Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 4+ years of experience in Program Management or Project Management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or higher
- Experience in having metric tools being built on your behalf (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, SmartSheet)
- Experience leading a cross-functional team or Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Project Management Certification (i.e. PMP)
- Experience with BCABs, FAA, Regulatory Administration
- Experience building a Program Management Office (PMO)
- Experience leading and performing Root Cause Analysis
Typical Education/ Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
