Reasons Eating Disorder Center (Reasons) is seeking candidate professionals, preferably with previous experience working with eating disorders, trauma, substance use and LGBTQIA+ communities, to provide compassionate care to our diverse patients for our residential treatment facilities located in beautiful, intimate six-bed houses in the Pasadena, San Marino, and the Arcadia neighborhoods of the Los Angeles area. The Manager of Psychotherapy for Reasons Residential is a key member of the leadership team and is responsible for hiring, training and managing the Program Therapists, ensuring fidelity to program schedules and high quality clinical services are offered to the patients. This position reports to the Clinical Director and has direct input into the establishment of treatment plans, oversees utilization review with managed care organizations, and provides daily psychotherapeutic leadership and direction to the program staff. The Manager of Psychotherapy leads or co-leads meetings such as morning rounding and treatment teams, co-leads groups with Therapists for training purposes, and is a leader and trainer in milieu management and meal support. This position is a key member of the team and will travel between 3 residential sites in the San Gabriel Valley in Pasadena, Arcadia and San Marino. Requirements: Education: Masters or Doctorate Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health, psychology, or a related field required. Experience: Experience in residential programming and milieu management in eating disorders, supervision, patient assessment, family engagement, and treatment planning required. Licensure: LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PhD, or PsyD required. May also be required to supervise students. Your passion, inspiration, and talents are invaluable to us and our mission to serve others.
