In this role you will service and counsel policyholders on their personal insurance needs as a trusted insurance advisor. You will be providing service on behalf of our agency partners.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain product knowledge of all lines of business (Personal Auto, Homeowner and Umbrella) across all regions.
Exceed the expectations of customers and agents, always providing professional and efficient service through positive interactions and extensive product knowledge.
Identify customer opportunities to educate, quote and sell our personal lines insurance products.
Conduct periodic renewal reviews with policyholders and provide recommendations to address potential insurance gaps.
Develop and foster Agent/Company relationships.
Engage in proactive efforts to exceed departmental and company objectives.
Demonstrate willingness and ability to learn.
Assist other departments when the need arises to perform duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education
Excellent listening, communication, and organizational skills.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail required.
Sales-related experience a plus.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or two to three years related experience.
Property & Casualty license a plus.
Personal Lines experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Flexible schedule a plus.
Must obtain a NJ Property and Casualty Insurance producer license within the first 3 months of employment date.
Must be able to handle a high volume of in-bound and out-bound calls within time standards while maintaining a professional demeanor.
