Position Description Summary:
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking to fill a faculty position in Spine Surgery. The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is part of a growing academic health center located in the heart of a vibrant metropolitan area and its cultural, family, and educational opportunities. Appointment to this full-time academic position will be made at an academic rank commensurate with experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include delivering excellent patient care, teaching residents and medical students, and conducting high-quality research.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery certified/eligible; fellowship-trained in spine surgery before appointment; and eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia.
Advertised Salary:
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
