Corporate Communications Specialist Lead
As a Corporate Communications Specialist Lead, you will primarily lead large-scale communication programs to ensure employees understand the vision, mission, strategies, and policies of Auto Club Enterprises.
What You’ll Do
- You’ll lead the strategy, development, implementation, and maintenance of our corporate intranet platform.
- You’ll manage the architecture for access, train new users and drive engagement to ensure the intranet meets the needs of all departments/employees.
- You’ll be leading the communication of news and information to employees and multiple stakeholders (HR programs and project leaders, managers, etc.) to create communication programs and interactive experience using a variety of channels (intranet, video, blogs, print media, etc.).
- You’ll be building comprehensive internal communication programs that help employees understand the goals, programs, organizational structure, and vision of business units and the organization at large.
- You’ll lead the strategy of our corporate intranet as a key enabler of time and productivity. This includes the architecture of the vision of how we make information accessible to the entire organization.
- You’ll lead HR’s digital media strategy for the organization across multiple distribution platforms.
- You’ll be generating creative ways to tell stories, explain concepts/research, and highlight achievements, departments, executives, employees, and events.
- You’ll develop storyboard, pitch, script, and content for monthly employee TV shows, as well as short-form videos, photo projects, training materials, digital signage graphics, and social media posts. This also includes leading the planning and executing small and large-scale photo/video shoots and providing photography and video event support for community and corporate events.
- You will conduct and film employee and executive interviews.
- You’ll maintain production equipment to ensure organization and proper working order.
- You will meet with colleagues in Marketing, eBusiness, Public Affairs, etc., to ensure message alignment and consistency as well as generate new content ideas.
What You’ll Need
- You have a 4-year college degree in an appropriate area such as Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- You must have five or more years of prior experience in areas such as preparation and publication of employee newsletters, brochures, employee handbooks, intranet content, video creation and editing, annual benefits open enrollment materials, new-employee benefits handbooks, and related benefit and compensation communications.
- You have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Adobe Express, Acrobat, Illustrator, and Premiere.
- You have intermediate knowledge of Igloo Software or similar digital workplace intranet software.
- You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook required.
- You have Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- You will need to be comfortable shooting in a studio or on-location with the ability to adapt equipment setup and provide alternative set up or workarounds, if necessary, while still delivering a quality product.
- You will need to be available and willing to travel throughout Southern California and other states for meetings, conferences, and events. This position requires working in the office during regular business hours in addition to occasional travel, weekend, or evening work.
- You will need to maintain photo/video licenses.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$94,900.00 - $126,500.00
Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
