PositionOverview:
Are youhighly skilled in operating CNC machinery and passionate about creatingprecision components? We're looking for a dedicated CNC Machinist to join ourteam! In this role, you will operate and maintain CNC machines to producehigh-quality parts that meet our specifications.
What yourday may look like:
- Read and understand technical drawings from purchase orders or verbalinstructions.
- Under limited supervision, set up and operateprecision machines such as CNC, Press, CMM, FARO Arm, Milling Machine, BandSaw, Shear etc.
- Workclosely with engineers and other manufacturing professionals to ensure theproduction of high-quality machined and fabricated parts.
- Ensurethat all processes and outputs meet the required specifications and qualitystandards.
- Secureand deburr girders and truck frames to ensure smooth edges and surfaces.
- Assemble and disassemble wheelsets with precision and care.
- Accurately measure girders, truckcomponents, and wheel sets to meet specifications.
- Performdaily maintenance and cleaning of machines and work areas according toestablished checklists.
- Collaboratewith engineers, production personnel, and others to resolve machining orassembly issues efficiently.

Educationand experience that will make you successful in this role:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Atleast three years of experience in machining and/or fabrication. Must havepractical knowledge of CNC programming.
- Trainingas a machining technician, machine operator, or lathe operator is required.
- Candidateshould be highly proficient in reading blueprints.
- Possessstrong reading, writing, and math skills.
- Experiencedin using precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, micrometers,and gauges.

The hourlyrate for this position is $22.29-29.92 plus, 10% shift differential for 2ndshift and 20% shift differential for 3rd shift. Theactual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidateexperience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
