Job Abstract

Associate Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Little Company of Mary San Pedro in San Pedro, CA.

Under the direction and/or indirect supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, RN and Product Manager, provides ancillary and support services to the Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Care Unit and Ambulatory Care Center. Provide patient transport to the following age group: Pediatrics to older adults.

Required qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire; or
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year hospital or clinical experience in Operating Room or Central Services.
