Job Summary
**New Hire Sign on Bonus of $1,000!
Bonus is a one time "off-schedule" stipend for New Classified employees. First $500 paid after second supplemental pay period of working month, remaining $500 paid at end of school year.
Additional other duties as assigned related to emergency, crisis and/or pandemic.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required:
* Must pass Paraprofessional exam before employment offer. To schedule exam, contact Ida Woldeslassie at iwoldeslassie@srcs.k12.ca.us or 707-890-3800 EXT 80610
If you have 48 college credit units or more, you are exempt from taking the Paraprofessional exam. Attach college transcripts to application.
* Post offer, pre-employment physical exam required. (POPP Physical)
* Be able to work at an elementary school environment. Ability to assist with instructional activities. Understand the needs of Special Education students.
Desirable:
* Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school.
* Experience working with children in a learning situation.
* Training and/or experience in working with special education students is desirable.
Must complete Mandated Reporter Training- School Personnel module AFTER 07/01st and before first day of employment. When you apply for this position, you will receive an email attachment with the details of this training.
Work Week: Monday- Friday 8:15 AM - 2:15 PM (includes 30 min unpaid lunch break)
