The Opportunity
Our Supply Chain Operations team in Houston is seeking an #EnergyProblemSolver to support our warehouse and inventory strategy as an Inventory Analyst.
As part of the Supply Chain Materials Equipment and Operations team, the Inventory Analyst will work with multiple stakeholders in the US to manage the intake, consumption, replenishment, optimization, obsolescence, and disposition of South Bow's inventory and project materials. This individual will have the proven skills, competencies, and capacity to oversee our inventory and storage locations, as well as related warehousing vendors.
What you’ll do
Establish and manage company-owned field inventory at central and satellite storage locations
Manage third-party logistics and other warehousing vendors
Support clients with inventory management, including analysis, optimization, and requisitioning
Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance intelligence and planning for materials management
Coordinate inventory additions and strategic storage across multiple locations
Develop and execute strategies to manage surplus and investment recovery
Work with clients to identify and manage surplus/obsolete inventory
Conduct business-specific analysis and reporting for internal stakeholders
Assist with improving inventory visibility and providing process training to clients
Support accurate data and regulatory reporting with various departments
Identify and interact with key Supply Chain and Business stakeholders
Recognize and address gaps in the Procure-to-Pay process and Supply Chain systems
Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required
Qualifications
University Degree
Skills in creating reports in Power BI, including data wrangling and transformations
Ability to automate through the use of Power Automate and Power Apps
Experience using SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules related to materials and inventory
Supply Chain experience in the pipeline, midstream, or other related oil and gas setting
Experience with advanced inventory management and optimization software such as IBM MRO IO (Oniqua), Llamasoft, Vanguard etc
This position requires candidates to:
Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training up to 10% of time
Successfully complete pre-employment Bankruptcy, Credit, Civil and Criminal background checks
