Position Summary:
The Surgical Tech is responsible for assisting with direct patient care activities in the Operating Room. Prepares and stocks the OR before and after surgery. gathers clean and sterile supplies. sets sterile instrument fields. maintains and monitors aseptic techniques. assists with the orientation of new staff. and participates on departmental committees. Required Qualifications:
Required: Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Current American Heart Association BLS certification required. Minimum Experience: Six months acute care experience as an OR tech and/or a graduate from an accredited OR tech training program required. Preferred:
