We are seeking an experienced Communications Content Manager to work directly with the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) Engineering Directorate to develop, enhance, and maintain communications through their internal and external sites. This individual will improve internal communication efficiencies by helping create a modern and automated SharePoint Online intranet, create content development processes and procedures, and maintain and update content within the site on an ongoing basis. This individual will also update and maintain the content on the external facing WordPress site for the directorate.
We are seeking someone who has proficient writing skills, an eye for layout and design, and experience interfacing with all levels of an organization. This person will help lead the effort to implement a consistent look and feel across the directorate sites while maintaining required branding standards.
This role will also assist in similar duties for the JSC Engineering, Technology & Science (JETS) II contract. This person will join a collaborative team of creative professionals who provide graphic design, videography, photography, printing, and communications services to the NASA JSC Engineering Directorate, Astromaterials Research and Exploration Sciences Directorate, the JETS II contract, and Jacobs.

- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of experience.
- Proficient in SharePoint Online (SPO)

- Proficient in WordPress
- Page layout, graphics, and content development
- Proficient writing communications skills
- Experience building and maintaining internal and external sites

Requisition Preferences:
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- Skilled with Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of SharePoint 2016/2019

Work Environment
