The OVPR serves as a strategic partner in New Brunswick advocating for resources, developing communication/opportunities, and supporting seed funding initiatives, to promote an inclusive culture for research and scholarship. The Office also provides advice and planning for university-wide research initiatives and priorities including its Centers and Institutes, supporting New Brunswick and its cross-campus and Chancellor-led units’ research infrastructure development, working closely with the central University Office for Research and Office of Institutional Research and Academic Planning.?

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience	Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Two (2) years of relevant experience.
Certifications/Licenses	A valid driver’s license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities	Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and collegially with faculty and staff. Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications	Experience in program coordination, event planning a plus. Experience in research administration and/or research development or an interest to learn.
Equipment Utilized
Physical Demands and Work Environment	Ability to pick up 10-15 pounds of event materials/supplies. Ability to climb stairs. Required to travel to on-site and off-site events using own vehicle.
Special Conditions	Clean Driving Record.
