JOB SUMMARY

Provides input for colleague’s performance appraisals
Assists Engineers when commissioning new test equipment.
Provides technical assistance & training to other technicians on the same shift.
Provides line support to manufacturing for all test processes. Questionable
Ensures “machine down” calls are responded to on time.
Collaborate with manufacturing to determine repairs by priority.
Review released parts against engineering documentation to ensure all parts are present and accurate to requirements before commencing machine build or other operations.
Accurately and effectively use best practices to assemble robotic automation machines according to documentation.
Support engineering processes with effective, actionable feedback as required to ensure operational excellence.
Ensures adequate spares are available for all allocated equipment.
Ensures Preventative Maintenance is conducted at specified intervals on all equipment deployed onsite.
Escalates to Engineers on any unresolved/ongoing issues.
Encourage technicians on safe/effective use of test equipment and practices best safety practices.
Provides daily reports of all assigned project issues.
Up to 30% travel for on-site customer installations and support
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating systems and or related software.
Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
Ability to write simple correspondence and ability to read and understand visual aids.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
The hourly pay range for this role is $28.49 - $51.27. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, education (if requirement noted above), geographic location, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
