Job Summary
THE POSITION:
Educational Leadership Programs provides two levels of new administrator development and certification. This pathway begins with an accredited one-year Preliminary Administrative Services Credential Program (PASC) and continues with an accredited two-year Clear Induction Administrative Services Credential Program (CIASC). The Coordinator III position shall provide technical, specialized, consultative, advisory, and planning services in support of the county service area’s school and district needs for both programs as well as provide training to Leadership Coaches and course instructors. The ideal candidate will plan, design and deliver professional learning activities guided by the California Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (CPSEL), Quality Professional Learning Standards (QPLs) underscored by an equity mindset, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Any combination of education and experience that would be likely to provide the required knowledge and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities
would be:
Experience: Five or more years of comprehensive, directly related and progressive educational administrative experience, which may include site, district, and county-level administration.
Professional development experience is required. Teaching experience with diverse populations is desirable.
Education: Equivalent to a Master’s degree or higher in Educational Administration, or a closely related field from an Institution of higher learning accredited by one of the six regional
accreditation associates recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
