POSITION OVERVIEW
Beechmont Country Club is seeking a dynamic and experienced Membership & Marketing Director. The ideal candidate will develop and execute marketing tactics and strategy that enhances the awareness of the Beechmont CC brand and communicates the story and ongoing execution of the Sales & Marketing Plan working collaboratively with club management, membership committee, and Troon corporate team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drives the content development and facilitates production of all membership related materials, including but not limited to prospecting, onboarding, and retention efforts.
- Leads the content, production/packaging, and delivery of a thorough and accurate onboarding of every new member, ensuring that:
- The process follows a structured plan
- The materials are professionally presented
- The orientation agenda includes key department leads
- The member gains an understanding of every element of the club
- Leads the marketing efforts such as paid digital efforts, synagogue and new homeowner outreach initiatives, realtor relations, etc.
- Manages Beechmont CC social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) and ensures delivery of consistent, high quality and engaging content; reflective of the Beechmont CC brand.
- Develops a communication plan that outlines all Club communications from emails to newsletters.
- Designs and executes a monthly Club newsletter that features content from each department.
- Engaged with the Beechmont CC App and website platforms.
- Contributes to the overall success of the club and community by consistently interacting with members, coworkers, and management with a positive attitude and focus on culture of hospitality, leadership, and mutual respect.
- Attend Club committee meetings as assigned by the GM/COO.
- Works with other department heads on special projects assigned by the GM/COO.
- Other duties and jobs may be assigned as needed by the GM/COO.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Microsoft Office (Publisher, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Creative with an eye for design
- Strong organizational skills: time management, attention to detail, ability to self-start.
- Able to multi-task and produce high-quality results with strict deadlines.
- Team player: ability to work cooperatively with other departments, committees, and Board to attain club goals.
- Proficient on social media platforms; experience with ad creation is preferred.
- Familiarity with Jonas system software is preferred.
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is preferred.
- Able to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments.
- Strong team-building skills including the ability to lead, cooperate, motivate, and contribute as part of a team with representatives from multiple disciplines.
- Has a proven record of showing empathy with members’ needs and communicating policy in a positive manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Verifiable strength in working closely with management to develop and execute the club's vision.
- Exhibit excellent organizational, technological, and time management skills.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university, preferably in a marketing/communications program; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
