Job Summary
This Job Development position serves vocational experiences and work based learning for students identified in our Moderate to Severe Disabilities program titled Academic Community Transition (ACT). Supports include small group instruction activities, vocational skill development, and in person work site support as offered via District and County guidelines. A strong candidate will have experience in school settings and working with students with developmental disabilities.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education: The position typically requires an Associate’s degree.
Licenses & Certificates:
- Requires a valid driver’s license, car insurance and meet district standards for transporting
students. Certificate of competency complying with NCLB.
- First Aid and CPR certification required (available through the district).
- Requires fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of
Investigation.
