Position Overview:
As an Assembler, you will support a range of activities in ahigh-energy production environment putting together the final assembly tomanufacture the best rail vehicles in the world.
What your day will look like:
- Mechanical assembly of components andsub-assemblies (according to engineering drawings, specifications, and workinstructions).
- Reading and understanding assembly drawings,bills of materials, and assembly instructions.
- Safely using hand and power tools. Somecertifications may be required to operate cranes, forklifts, etc.
- Complete work order documentation, qualitydocuments, and clock your labor hours.
- Follow all safety requirements using allrequired Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
For your safety, we require:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and understand writteninstructions and communicate using the English language.
- General Mechanic and Electrical background
- Understanding of metric system measurements(preferred)

- Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms,stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Hourly pay rage from - $20.00- $$22.61 per hour (plus shift premium – 10% for2nd shift, 20% for 3rd shift). The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
