Summary:
The ideal candidate will be a confident and highly organized self-starter with some applications knowledge, communication, and technical problem-solving skills to ensure execution of our quality standards and customer on time delivery metrics.
Responsibilities:
Technicians must have prior experience reading and interpreting working drawing.
Troubleshoot, test, and analyzes assembly problems on electronic and mechanical components and assemblies.
Assemble products from a combination of any of the following operation plans, drawings, sketches, and written instructions.
Performs in-process inspections to verify work is completed within standards.
Perform testing of sub-assemblies and assemblies utilizing Acceptance Test Procedures and other written instructions
Other duties as assigned to promote optimal customer satisfaction.
General Tasks:
Strict compliance with quality, occupational safety, and environmental regulations.
Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
2 – 5 years of assembly experience in a Production environment
Knowledge of precision measuring tools is a must
Mechanical Inspection experience is a plus
Cleanroom experience is a plus
Must have great communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to details required
Quality oriented
Good computer skills – Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook
Physical Requirements:
- The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
