SaaS Engineering at Nutanix
This role would be a part of the Salesforce Development team at Nutanix. The team consists of highly skilled professionals who are passionate about leveraging the Force.com platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives. They collaborate closely with stakeholders and other departments to design and develop solutions that align with business objectives. Your Role
- Design and develop solutions to support critical business functions
- Create technical solution documentation aligned with business objectives
- Develop and test custom development, integrations, and data migration
- Analyze and resolve application and system problems
- Provide support to end users for Salesforce-related issues
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Evaluate software packages and make buy vs. build recommendations
- Stay informed on Salesforce releases and enhancements
- Configure and administer the Salesforce platform
What You Will Bring
- 4+ years of Salesforce Application Development experience
- Strong technical and functional proficiency in Salesforce administrative tasks
- Expertise in Apex Triggers, Classes, Batch Class, Controllers, Lightning Component, Aura and Communities
- Experience integrating web services, developing REST APIs, SOAP APIs
- Good understanding of Salesforce platform limitations
- Excellent software architecture, design, and problem-solving skills
- Strong unit testing abilities and attention to detail
- Understanding of development & release procedures, upgrade cycle, and best practices on the Force.com platform
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 97,120 and USD $ 192,960 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
