Applied Network Solutions, Inc. is seeking a TS/SCI w/ Polygraph cleared Storage Architect - Level 4 to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.
Position Details:
This position will provide management of configuration and layout of the storage infrastructure as well as periodic analysis of the environment following best practices. Responsible for ongoing storage recommendations, capacity planning and best practices, as applicable, for the following areas: business continuity, high availability, backup, recovery and archiving. Provide reach-back to various storage vendor technical support. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing technical leadership and is responsible for the development of new storage infrastructure and Information Lifecycle Managment designs, including requirements and analysis.
- Performing end to end analysis on the performance of the storage infrastructure, presents findings, and submits recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Twenty (20) years' experience in overall storage operations or storage architecture, with ten (10) years of experience must be in the specific storage technology that is in the customer environment
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Systems, System Engineering, or related field
- Familiar with NetApp & Pure Storage (NSA)
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- IAT I Certification
