The Senior Accountant position is responsible for supporting the financial operations unit of the University’s central finance office. Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting and Accounting, the Senior Accountant will have primary responsibilities for Financial Reporting and Accounting. Hybrid and in-person work options are available.
The Senior Accountant position requires experience in accounting and an understanding of standard accounting principles, experience reconciling; balancing and maintaining accounting records; working in a customer-oriented environment with a focus on helping customers achieve their operational objectives.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:
- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree (Business or Accounting preferred).
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting
- Required Experience: 4 years of accounting work experience.
- Preferred Qualification: Active CPA license
- Required Computer Applications: Microsoft Excel
- Preferred Computer Applications: Workday
The Senior Accountant will report to the Director of Financial Reporting.

This position will remain open until filled. This is an Exempt level, benefited position. Anticipated Hiring Range: $100,000-110,000 per year commensurate with education and experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
