The Senior Manager for the US Marketplace team will lead go-to-market and product strategy development and implementation for the pricing lever for our business – seller fees and incentives.

You’ll make an impact by:
- Developing seller fees and incentives GTM playbooks – Build, evolve, and maintain best-in-class go-to-market strategies to deploy seller fees updates and new incentive programs to WMT Marketplace sellers. Define approach for regular fees updates based on systematic identification of opportunities to ensure parity vs competition and supporting growth in ‘right-to-win’ categories. Analyze existing processes to inform sellers about new incentives programs and offers, define performance metrics and build required reporting, recommend changes and develop playbooks aimed at improving seller awareness and adoption.
- Implementing seller fee changes and new incentives launches – Bring GTM playbooks to life by implementing fee updates calendar, build fee change business cases to engage Marketplace Leadership and Key Stakeholder teams on recommendation and align on proposed changes. Partner with x-functional business teams on timely launch new incentive programs. Collaborate with analytics to develop post implementation reporting to ensure healthy fees structure balancing growth and profitability.
- Driving seller fees & incentives awareness/adoption – Partner with seller marketing and corporate communication teams to define and deploy communication strategy including messaging, marketing collateral, most efficient communication tools, etc. Work closely with business teams and use data to ensure seller awareness and adoption.
- Defining holistic seller fees & incentive product strategy – Identify opportunities for seller fees and incentives automation based on deep analysis of user needs, existing processes with their benefits and limitations, competitive analysis. Build business case to assess value from automation and engage cross-functional business, product, and engineering teams to defend product asks. Convert business cases into business requirement documents and partner with Product on defining product requirements.
- Partnering with x-functional teams on seller fees and incentives product roadmap implementation – engage with partner business, product, engineering teams on annual/quarterly/monthly planning, prioritization, and execution of product roadmap. Build annual roadmap and articulate big rocks. Work with product to break down big rocks into quarterly initiatives and milestones. Defend POV to include key initiatives into ATL list and secure engineering resources for implementation. Liaise with x-functional partner team on a regular basis to ensure timely implementation of committed roadmap items. Partner with Seller Success GTM team on development and deployment of GTM strategy to sellers for new product features and trainings for internal teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Management or related field and 2 years of experience in a strategy or advisory role (e.g., management consulting, strategy and operations, or similar role).
- Experience building presentations and developing narratives for executive audiences.
- Experience working cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics or Quantitative field.
- 4 years of experience in a strategy or advisory role (e.g., management consulting, strategy and operations or similar role).
- Experience manipulating data, generating insights from analyses, and communicating findings to an executive audience.
- Excellent personal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
