Job Summary
Project Manager Positioning, Navigation And Timing Systems (PM PNT) is a U.S. Army Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors (PEO IEW&S) organization that has a mission to provide Warfighter-valued Assured PNT solutions today that enable multi-domain operations in rapidly evolving denied environments. BMA is seeking a Logistician Level V to support PM PNT’s product support services requirement for logistics engineering support services, installation, and repair, and field support (e.g., training, new equipment fielding, and property support; and Field Service Representatives, etc.) for new or existing hardware and software products. The Logistician Level V provides overall oversight for all aspects of logistics for the PM PNT Product Support Services (PSS) contract. This includes oversight of system fielding, implementation, and execution of field support; approving final version of reporting for obsolescence management, maintenance reporting, failure reporting, asset reporting, post fielding reports etc. Monitoring efficiency of field support personnel and making recommendations regarding co-use of personnel. Performing system life-cycle cost analysis and develop component studies. Providing oversight for planning and execution of training support across all programs. Staying informed of logistics technology advances, and Government regulations and policies and applying them to improve logistics processes, procedures and continuous improvement.
Clearance Requirements
There is a DoD Secret Clearance Requirement for this position.
Required Skills & Certifications
• Bachelor’s from an accredited academic institution in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related logistics field.
• Military Educational Level (MEL) – 4, Command and General Staff College (CGSC) or Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) equivalent.
• Current Logistics Professional certification; Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Logistics Transportation and Distribution (CLTD), or equivalent certification.
• 15+ years’ experience as a logistician within the DoD environment.
• 2+ years’ experience managing 10 or more employees.
• Experience communicating with senior leaders.
• Experience with Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
• Experience with Obsolescence Management, Warehouse Management, Inventory and Property Management, and Distribution and Transportation Management.
• Familiarity with Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) and Supply Support Activity (SSA) organizations.
Desired Skills & Certifications
• Master’s from an accredited academic institution.
• MEL-1, Senior Service College or equivalent.
