Responsibilities
Academic Services
Academic Services point of contact for select Varsity Athletic teams.
Monitor Academic Practice Program including tracking and maintaining attendance at study hours sessions, tutoring appointments, and workshops.
Manage peer student-athlete tutor schedules and changes, as well as semester tutoring schedule.
Partner with Tutoring Program through the Weingarten Center.
Student-Athlete Development Programming
Assist with Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
Assist with CSAS department events and projects including but not limited to the following;
- Fall Student-Athlete Kickoff event
- Beginning of the Year meetings with Campus Partners
- Fall and Spring Student-Athlete Career Receptions
- PNC Academic Achievers Award management
- Regular communication to student-athlete population about upcoming events and opportunities
- DRIA Day of Service
- National Student-Athlete Day
- Quaker Choice Awards
?Qualifications
1-2 years of experience within an intercollegiate athletics department preferred.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Possesses working knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms, including Outlook, Word, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to professionally collaborate with a diverse group of coaches, staff, and students-athletes.
Exhibit strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and independently execute tasks on a deadline.
Ability to work a flexible schedule(nights/weekends /holidays) as needed
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
Adherence to University of Pennsylvania policies and procedures, NCAA Bylaws, Ivy League Bylaws, and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
