Technical Business Analyst
What does a successful Technical Business Analyst do at Fiserv?
You will play a key role in bridging the gap between clients and the technology teams to design and implement project features effectively. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of data processing and analysis, coupled with solid skills in Java and Ab Initio. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SQL and have a strong grasp of enterprise architecture and design principles, along with controls experience.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with clients to gather and understand their business requirements
- Design and implement project features that meet client specifications
- Work closely with technology teams to develop technical solutions
- Perform data analysis using SQL and other data processing tools
- Utilize Java and Ab Initio for developing and deploying technical solutions
- Apply your knowledge of enterprise architecture and design principles to ensure robust project frameworks
- Participate in Agile methodology practices, including planning, sprints, and reviews
- Create and maintain detailed user stories and project documentation
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of experience using SQL for data analysis in a technical business analyst capacity
- 4+ years of experience with Java programming
- 4+ years of experience with Ab Initio
- 6+ months of experience working on Fiserv platforms
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience
What would be great to have:
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices
- Understanding of enterprise architecture and design principles
- Experience with implementing and maintaining control procedures
- Excellent story writing and documentation skills
