What you’ll do?
The Assembler 1 will perform light duty assembly tasks for finished goods production to ensure on time delivery to the schedule and meeting our customers’ expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use mechanical and hand tools
- Be able to prepare and install inserts and rivets for assembly
- Follow simple instructions from Supervisor
- Identify and report safety hazards in the workplace
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to determine that components are in good condition prior to assembly work
- Ability to assemble electromechanical components (valves and motors,) and harness
- Ability to understand basic drawings and diagrams
- Ability to close and pack finished goods
- Attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations
- Compliant to the Ocupational Health and Safety Rules
What you need to be successful in this role:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Recommended Training
- Related work experience
- Sheet metal/assembly (preferred)
- Sheet metal or electromechanical component assembly
- Basic Math?(counting, addition/subtraction)
- Problem Identification
- Basic blueprint or wire diagram reading
- Use of mechanical and hand tools
- Hand Eye Coordination and Dexterity for Small Objects
- Reading simple instructions
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, Walking
- Manual dexterity
- Working in hot and cold environment
- Ability to Lift up to 50lbs occasionally
