LAO Cell Services Production Leader Position Responsibilities Manages the LAO CS production work schedule to provide cell maintenance to the Plaquemine and St. Gabriel chlorine production facilities, along with production scheduling associated with diaphragm drawing for Becancour, Freeport, and Plaquemine diaphragm cells. Serves as a member of the following leadership teams: the M-83 Diaphragm Hardware/ Scheduling Team, the Membrane Hardware/ Scheduling Team, the Diaphragm Technology Leadership Council, and the Non-Asbestos Diaphragm Strategy Team Works closely with R&D and the Diaphragm Technology Team to develop non-asbestos cell drawing technology. Serves as an interface between diaphragm production facilities in Louisiana/ Texas, the St. Gabriel production facility, and Cell Services to determine optimum rebuild timing and efficient management of the resources associated with diaphragm and electrolyzer rebuilds. Provides technical leadership and project leadership of cell rebuild capital. Also performs used cell autopsies on cells received from Gulf Coast Chlorine plants to determine root cause of failure and possible solutions to prevent failure or improve performance. Promotes a shared responsibility as a member of the EH&S team in pursuing Zero OSHA recordable injuries, Zero Process Safety incidents, and Zero compliance violations. LAO Cell Services Production Leader Position Requirements: Must meet one of the following requirements: BS degree - in Engineering or other technical field with 4 years of chemical manufacturing experience; OR High school diploma or equivalent with 15 years of chemical manufacturing experience Excellent technical skills and ability to troubleshoot and evaluate mechanical equipment. Diaphragm chlorine plant experience is strongly preferred. M-83 cell service and rebuilding experience is strongly preferred. Exceptional data management skills. Strong people leadership skills are preferred. Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred. Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).- Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.- Olin does not provide any form of sponsorship to applicants not authorized to work in the US.
