We attribute this success to our talented and dedicated staff. We are the best at what we do! We are seeking qualified candidates for our Partial Hospitalization Program Driver- Per Diem position. The selected candidate will provide safe, efficient transportation services to patients and visitors under the department of Patient Transportation, Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week. This position is based out of our Georgetown location. Key Responsibilities include: Safely and timely transport patients or visitors to and from specified locations Conduct safety inspections of company vehicles prior to and after any transportations Address vehicle maintenance and repair needs in accordance with established procedures Oversee the safe storage and transport of patient medications Run errands, pick up supplies and make deliveries as requested Maintain transportation logbook and other documentation associated with services provided Identify, document, and report any and all instances of adult or child abuse and neglect to the appropriate parties including a member of management, the police, and state agencies Qualifications Minimum: High School Diploma, GED and/or equivalent combination education and experience Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record Preferred: 1 year of experience with de-escilation techniques and behavior management of children, adults, and adolescents Benefits: Orientation (Could earn 20 CEUs) * Career development opportunities across UHS and its 300+ locations Diverse programming to expand your experience and energize your career HealthStream online learning catalogue with plenty of free CEU courses Competitive Compensation About Universal Health Services (UHS): One of the nation’s largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc. has built an impressive record of achievement and performance.
