Pay range: $150,000 - $200,000 (depending on experience)

What You'll Do

Must be able to establish operational goals, both financial and non-financial, with clear work plans, and hold management staff accountable
Direct all activities of the Area including accounting, shipping, receiving, operations, safety and environmental
Lead in a professional manner toward achieving company performance goals with emphasis on safety, quality and all company standards
Responsible for the planning of budgets, company assets, labor forecasts and capital expenditures for short-term and long-range production
Supports company’s policies and procedures including AA/EEO goals
Ensure legal compliance with all applicable local state and federal employment laws to minimize risk/exposure to the company
What You'll Need
Ability to forecast short and long-term buying of material to meet on-time delivery schedules to our consumers
Ability to make sure all employees are trained and well prepared to carry out their daily tasks to ensure everyone's safety
Demonstrated ability to manufacture quality products that consistently meet or exceed consumer receiving specifications
Extensive knowledge of all areas of operations
Knowledge of transportation and logistics is critical
Must be able collaborative, partnering with leaders to positively motivate team to achieve success
Must be able to control budgeted labor and overtime costs; as well as, maintain fiscal responsibility for all departments' budgets
Must be able to control inventory dollars by meeting inventory turn standards set fourth by the company
Must be able to maintain and be familiar with safety and environmental concerns
Past successful experience in operations, marketing, sales in a metal recycling facility or other related industry a strong plus
Preferred familiarity with material handling equipment and how to properly maintain (maintenance programs) and repair equipment
Shredder knowledge preferred
Your Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
Master's degree preferred
