Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supports the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
Supports upgrades to computer components and software, management of virtual servers, and integration of automation processes and supports troubleshooting hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues.
Supports documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgraded IT infrastructure and supports regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
Supports desktop and helpdesk efforts, ensuring all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
Supports Kubernetes system administration in a DevOps CI/CD environment.
Supports configuring Kubernetes auto-provisioning and auto-scaling of CI/CD job/build agents/runners/nodes and assist in designing and implementing clusters, cluster segmentation, and internal/external networking for the four CI/CD deployment environments: development, test, staging, and production.
Supports capacity, storage planning, and database performance, and monitor and manage all installed systems and infrastructure.
Experienced with digital engineering and possesses a solid foundational understanding of digital engineering methodologies and has experience in numerous aspects of configuring and maintaining IT systems.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in IT-related field
Four (4) years of additional experience is required with a High School diploma; two (2) years of additional experience is required with an Associate’s degree
A Master’s degree may be considered in lieu of two (2) years of experience; a Ph.D. can be considered in lieu of four (4) years of experience
Two (2) years of position-specific experience
IAT Level-II Certification within 6 months of commencing work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant industry standard certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat Linux, AWS, or VMWare.
Experience with scripting languages and automation tools such as Ansible, Salt or Puppet.
Relevant industry standard certifications.

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
