As an operations analyst, you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need a seasoned research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. On our Defense Supply Chain Risk Management team, you’ll lead the evaluation of data assessment strategies to deliver solutions.
In this role, you’ll share your passion for analytics and statistics to devise modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques, and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines.
Use your high-level operations research expertise to develop technologies and concepts that advance Defense Supply Chain Risk Management mission needs.

You Have:?
- 10+ years of experience with supply chain modeling utilizing deterministic and stochastic modeling, combinatorial optimization, network flow, and representation of supply chain networks, processes, and variables
- 5+ years of experience utilizing leading software and emerging technologies, including automation and machine learning, to conduct in depth simulation to identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks and evaluate supply chain scenarios
- Ability to forecast demand and lead times using historical data and predictive analysis to assist with inventory management, component criticality, and production
- Ability to develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions while adhering to program protection plans and security classification guides
- Ability to gather, validate, and manage large disparate datasets ensuring data integrity and availability

Nice If You Have:?
- Experience developing products using advanced analytics software such as SAS, Python, and R, to provide decision support on DoD applications
- Experience with DoD data and analytics platforms such as Advana
- Experience using data visualization software such as Tableau or Qlik, to develop Enterprise-wide decision support and management capabilities
- Experience with integrated data products and databasing solutions, including in SQL, Spark, and Databricks
- Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
