VCA Animal Wellness Center of Marin in San Rafael, California is seeking a highly experienced Veterinarian to lead our talented team as Medical Director.
Animal Wellness Center of Marin, is a beautiful, newly remodeled clinic with two experienced doctors. Most of our staff have been with the practice for many years creating a strong bond with our patients and clients. We have a close and supportive team that takes pride in our high standard of medicine and quality patient care. Our hospital is fully equipped with digital x-ray, new ultrasound, anesthetic monitoring equipment, an advanced surgery suite, hydraulic dental table with digital dental imaging, and computers in every exam room as well as multiple work stations.
We are looking for an Associate Veterinarian to work full time, four days-a-week. Our clinic is open Monday-Friday 8-6 and Saturday 8-5. Working one Saturday a month will be required. No on-call duties.
We have a collaborative doctor team who continuously encourages growth and furthering knowledge. In addition, our doctors have a direct line of communication and a wealth of support from our Regional Medical Director (DACVIM) and Area Medical Director (DAVDC).
We are in the heart of downtown San Rafael within walking distance of diverse and fine dining, museums, community centers, and a short distance from San Francisco and the bay. San Rafael is surrounded by wonderful communities and excellent schools.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $150K - $180K. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
