Requirements
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities, include the following, other duties may be assigned
Knowledge of all product lines that the company stores and distributes, and understands the applications for those parts.
Knowledge of all other areas and duties of all other positions in the Parts Department.
Administrator of customer accounts
Skills to promote and sell products
Provide the highest level of customer service to our internal and external partners.
Request quotes from vendors.
Prepare and submit offers.
Generate purchase orders and submit orders to vendors.
Expedite parts as necessary.
Review open orders.
Has a working relationship with suppliers
Seeks management guidance regarding compliance.
Assist the sales team with offer submissions.
Initiate customer contact to promote product sales and customer relations.
Maintains database integrity and associated documentation.
Ability to track and communicate key issues and status of orders.
Prepares and maintains all records and documents required for the duties being performed; knowledgeable of all company policies and procedures relating to parts transactions.
Must maintain factory training requirements.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
HS diploma, 2 years of equivalent experience
Excellent product knowledge, good administrative skills and inventory management experience are important.
Demonstrable customer service skills including two years previous parts department experience, which will consist of inside parts selling.
Excellent telephone skills
Previous Paragon software experience
AS400 software experience
Excellent customer service skills
