Job Abstract

Oversee the development and monitoring of Patient Access staff and processes.

Ensure registration quality and access to New Bridge Medical Center is achieved timely and efficiently.

Provides day-to-day leadership while performing escalated or complex duties. Creates and maintains department schedule, assisting with coverage for absences/vacations so no vital workstation goes uncovered. Ensures shifts are covered. Uses independent judgment requiring in-depth analysis of variable factors.

Coaches employees to correct processes both individually and during team meetings. Educates staff on existing and updated protocols for hospital/ambulatory services.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Ensure all customer concerns are resolved in a professional manner

Demonstrates problem-solving, critical thinking, and prioritization of work to resolve issues as they arise in an appropriate and timely manner

Monitors and performs audits and aggregates findings to ensure all departmental functions are completed accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with departmental policies. Communicates findings to department and/or staff accordingly

Appropriately educates and mentors, and leads/participates in company initiatives, such as employee engagement, to support a team oriented culture. Acts as a coach and positive role model for staff by establishing and maintaining a safe work environment that fosters positive morale.

Participates on Department or hospital committees as requested.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
