Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented QA Specialist (Policy) to join our team in the Columbia and Hanover, MD area.
The QA Specialist shall provide policy support to Government personnel by assisting with the management processes related to the acquisition of equipment for worldwide USG-approved Foreign Government(s).
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist in the preparation of licenses and agreements for submittal to the USG in support of international trade.
- Act as a corporate liaison with USG regulators and technical personnel.
- Provide recommendations, regulatory advice and/or guidance to personnel involved in international trade activities.
- Ability to review, edit, and draft licenses/agreements to be submitted to the USG
- Ability to monitor the USG review process and progress of each submitted request.
- Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, tact, and patience to effectively interact with individuals at all levels, both internal and external to the Company.
- Must be personable and exhibit sound written and oral communications skills supporting functional and cross-functional collaboration with internal team members and clients.
- Assist in drafting and creating updates to International Trade training, policies, manuals, guidelines, and instructions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Computer Science, Mathematics, Accounting, InformationSystems, Program Management, or similar degree, or equivalent documented combination of training and experience.
- Three years of experience in conducting quality assurance (form, content, grammar and requirement compliance) of systems and software processes, PCA, documentation, and verification audits
- Experience with Government systems and software engineering evaluation, including formal an informal audits and technical reviews.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and be able to work with frequent interruptions. Must have strong time management skills and be flexible to accommodate changing priorities.
- Specialized experience on large government or industry technical contracts involving multiple activities and multiple vendors is desired.
- Expertise in International Traffic in Arms Regulations and policies
- At least three years of direct experience with an intelligence community or signals intelligence activity
- General experience with Management of the budget, schedule, and performance on government contracts.
