Job Summary
Prepares merchandise for sale in the Getty stores, organizes merchandise and supplies in the warehouse and warehouse annexes. Supports the Getty stores.
Major Job Responsibilities
Receives merchandise into inventory system, ensuring that merchandise is in sellable condition, and that quantities and costs are correct
Shelves merchandise according to warehouse procedures
Performs administrative duties: organize and file purchase orders, invoices, receiving reports, and transfers; process mail; update vendor list
Pulls restock of merchandise sold in the stores to replenish sales floor
Packages and ships customer orders purchased in-store or via phone
Qualifications
High school/GED
1-2 years experience in warehouse environment
Drivers license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Communication and interpersonal skills
Customer service skills
Must be able to operate a computerized integrated POS/inventory system
Training for forklift and pallet jack operation may be required and provided
May need to operate a 2-axle box truck
Ability to understand and implement policies and procedures
Basic math skills
Knowledge of institution's health and safety practices.
Must be able to lift up to 40lbs from the floor
