Requirements / Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) years of experience providing mental health therapy services to school-aged children in a school district, county office of education or or county mental health authority
EDUCATION:
Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or a related field
LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENT
At minimum: A valid California Board of Behavioral Sciences registration in one of the following:
Associate Marriage Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) or Associate
Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC); Valid California Driver’s License
Must include the six (6) items listed below to be considered for the position of Behavioral Health Therapist:
- Copy of Transcript (Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or a related field)
- Driver's License Copy (A Current, Valid California Driver license and insurability by the District's liability insurance carrier)
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Must submit two (2) current letters dated within the last twelve (12) months)
- Other ( A valid California Board of Behavioral Sciences registration in one of the following: Associate Marriage Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)
