Job Abstract

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking a Seasonal Counselors for our School Age Child Care programs in the Goochland area. This seasonal position will go from now to the end of June. As an employee at the YMCA you get a free gym membership! Starting pay for this site is at $17.50 per hour.

Duties:

Responsibilities include supervising and engaging with a group of school age children and participating in group programs. We are seeking incumbents with availability for full days (7am-6pm) and for after school (3-6pm). Hours may vary.

Qualifications:

• Applicants should have a minimum of six months of child care experience, preferably in a licensed facility.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age is 18.

The following certifications are highly desirable but not needed:

• CPR/AED Certification appropriate to age group
• First Aid Certification
